Algonquin Pitch Night is a student initiative to introduce interested students to the Media Pitching world. A fun creative place to practice pitching and get feedback on your ideas!
We aim to prepare our members for the pitching standards of the media industry.
How does it work?
Biweekly, on Monday evenings, Pitchers will be invited to elaborate and present a new pitch to their peers. When the pitch is over, or the allowed time runs out, the floor will be open for discussion. Spectators will be invited to give feedback, and insight, or ask questions and clarifications on what was exposed.
What is considered a Pitch?
A pitch can be anything, a show, a film, a comic, a character design, a concept, or whatever creative asset pitchers want feedback on. It doesn’t have to be very elaborate, nor a whole pitch bible for every pitch, it can be simply visual developments or just a synopsis.
